lol yeah i was at the gym in my condo yesterday and as usual i said hi to the uncle, turned on the airconlightsexhaustfan etc... then as i went to turn on the tv... the tv was missing. the whole thing was just ripped out of its holder near the corner of the ceiling.

best still is that below it is a sign that says "please do not remove the remote control from the gym"

anyway later on some family consisting of (i think) a bro a sis n a father walked in. the sis was like hardly doing much exercise mostly smsing and then she noticed the old-fashioned weighing scale in teh gym... u know.. the kind with a sliding ruler adn stuff. anyway she decided to weigh herself on this new-fangled weighing machine and asked her dad and bro to help in figuring it out. they weighed her and then the dad put his foot on the weighoing scale and she was like "omg! im 50+ kg *wails*" and then they kept trying it over and over again and this girl is like damn small size and she still didnt believe that something was wrong. she kept goign like "aiyah! how can! i need to jian fei. i dun eat anymore liao". all this while i was trying to stifle my laughter

takamura is a dick. any respect i had for him for his amazing fight as mentioned in my previous entry is now all gone. in just the next chapter right after the fight, he proves once again why he is a comic side character by acting like the usual asshole.

anyway new memory card for ps2. 32mb! i wont have any memory problems ever again. i can now play games like psychonauts that require a ridiculous 2mb of memory.

Ippo is just amazing. the last few chapters were the most amazing 3 volumes ive ever read in my entire life. 41 volumes of standard, yet strangely addictive sports manga fare culminated in this kickass fight that had me shaking with excitement as i turned page after page. all this despite the obvious spoiler on the front cover of volume 44. hmmm 30+ translated chapters to go....

we all know that sports mangas are damn addictive. ippo really goes one further cause it blends both fighting and sports manga together seamlessly. at first the art may put u off (at least its better than initial "sausage lips" D) but later u will realise that the mangaka drew the artwork this way on purpose. he IS capable of drawing ur standard bishi fare but instead most of the main charcters are drawn part ugly cos u really dun expect a pretty boy to be boxing now do you? (actually there are a few bishi boxers in it but yeah cliche legions of female fans etc etc)

ok so maybe its not the best ive ever read but its the best ive read in a long time and most definitely the most exciting ive ever read. never before have i felt i wanted to laugh and cry and shake with anticipation for just one fight scene. truly amazing stuff this is.

there is no longer any meaning to my life... sigh.

on the other hand, there probably is going to be a season 2 of this show cos its immensely popular in japan. i just hope it wont turn out like karekano, stop halfway in the middle of the story like wtf?

i feel really really relieved. but also abit bored. but very relieved! prelims? wat are those? dunno wat u talking abt.

so yeah right after the last lit s paper went to wankers house. after alot of convincing by me, managed to get pehpeh n wl to join as well, which was good cos the sleepover/party only got to last abt one day.

so we all watched the germany vs argentina match. woot germany won. some pple won and some ppl lost money from betting with s'pore pools.

man i really need to get a foosball table. the one at wanker's house rox. but i guess it was only fun cos the world cup was on concurrently n there were a large no og guys there to play against.
