roflmao

incidentally, to cheat during minesweeper, typ in xyzzy then shift. the top laeftmost pixel of ur screen will then turn white. if it turns black then ur cursor is hovering over a mine. unless of course its ur first move. what the movie said was true, the first one is never a mine. if u happen to click on a mine on the first move, the format resets.

also if all ur highscores are named "WRAPFIELD" and u right click the smiley to start a new game, the smiley turns red and u get the advanced wraparound mode whereby numbers on walls and cornersalso include the opposie ends.

also to cheat during pinball, type in "hidden test" with the space. then u can click and drag the pinball around.

this is just some of the useful stuff i learnt in the specialist signals course.

collegehumour has some pretty good original skits. for instance, this and this.

aaaaa memories of good times. of course the carmen sandiego one will only be funny if u watched the old cartoon and played the original game. rockapella and the red suited chief ftw.

ooo cool a triple dunk!!! this site has much less shit than youtube. some actually good stuff here.

yeah persona 3 is one pretty weird game. a dating sim rpg? who knew?

ok so its also abt making friends with guy classmates as well. but seriously the strength of ur summoned monster is based on ur relationships with others? weird. most of the game is actually a sim dating experience. i have to sing karaoke, drink weird medicine, watch horror/heroic movies to increase my courage stat?

i dunno why games always have this strange "relationship" factor in it. like fire emblem had it, and now my luminous arc game is totally ruined cos i just found out to get certain extremely rare one-of-a-kind items and to upgrade(? i think) a certain character, i need to have the highest relationship level of a full heart with an arrow through it. this entails me answering the correct response out of a choice of 3, 10 times in a row, during intermissions, which only happen after every long drawn out fight.

urg. real life relationships arent like that. u dont "level up" ur friendships.

stupid antisocial game designers....

freak
freaks

they are all freaks. though somehow im mildly impressed by their efforts even though im deeply disturbed. the first guy definitely gets an A for effort and courage for doing something so stupid in public to be seen by a hundred ppl, then posting it on the internet for it to be ssen by thousands. the freaks in the second link get zero internets from me. but the fact that haruhimania has spread so far and wide across so many countries is... awe inducing.

also props to janice for finding this and this

the first guy gets kudos for going on actual pilgrimage to the town. its awesome to see the familiar sights/sites (just realised either word could work) and of course 2 whole rows of charms dedicated to lucky star? i hope the temple is earning some money from all the anime tourists lucky star is bringing in.

the second guy is singaporean. and he went to kino to get that pic. and the ppl commenting are from aaaaalll over the world. for some strange reason, after reading his blog and stuff, i sincerely hope that he is older than me. cos somehow if this blog belonged to a 13 year old brat, i would feel... uncomfortable? not sure exactly how to put it. another one of those cases of: this guy is cool but i suspect hes a loli-yaoi-watching-figurine-collecting-cosplayer.

okay this guy certainly has... something. its certainly amazing that noone has thought to mix these 2 genres together before. it certainly seems difficult and tiring to do what he does. yet it somehow sounds incomplete.

GP: read extract A and extract B. Whose view do you agree with more.8:31 PM
Wednesday, August 08, 2007

my sis' boyfriend, the cool dude who gave me all 3 seasons of reboot (which ive lost/is with edmond :( ) for my birthday and who is helping me dld anime while im in army, just sent me 2 contrasting articles.

Extract A

and

Extract B

no doubt i believe in extract B's argument more. seriously if 0d3>< wants to increase sales, shudnt they stop picking up shitty series, ripping off (badly done)fansubs and passing their translations off as their own and giving shit realmedia file quality videos?

anyway haruhi ftw.

Blizzard <3 Koreans6:20 PM

here is definitive proof that StarCraft II was created especially for koreans. this trailer from a few months back show a lot more cool shit than any of the trailers from blizzcon. seriously screw the americans. none of them can game decently anyway....

anyway this weekend has been nothing but degeneration into my old anime-loving self. watching anime, reading manga all throughout this weekend. i had previously told myself that i would start touching my ps2 again. finish off tales of the abyss. and maybe go dld persona 3, the dating sim/horror rpg. but it seems there are no torrents for p3 tho the reviews r out. weird huh?

hardly been touching my ds. have i grown bored of it? or am i just waiting during the lull till the glut of awesome games come out next week?

anyway. lucky star has been chugging along juuust fine. edmond was right. the lucky channel segment at the end is the best thing abt lucky star. its overall very funny in a subtle way. awesome shit yo.

then i found an earlier series from ufotable, the guys who did the excellent futakoi alternative and the new tsukihime sequel thing (also out next week along with the games). coyote ragtime show! its got abit of a oceans111213/cowbot bebop vibe to it. quite decent imo. somehow somehting abt it has got me hooked, even if the whole heist thing is sorta toned down in comparison to oceansXIXIIXIII.

5cm per second is both good n bad. damn. i hated the 3rd story. the ending was like wtf? a music video? and the shitty conclusion to the story. i was sort of expecting more on the lines of "love conquering all" but meh. the first 2 stories are AWESOMELY bittersweet and thoroughly touching tho. just the 3rd story left a sour tase in my mouth.

i have a test tmr im not studying for. instead im watching anime...

...

anyway also been reading eyeshield21. awesome sports manga. now i know why snoopycool picked it up long time ago. snoopy always picks good.

hmmm i think thats abt all. i wanted to blog abt 1 other thing too but ive forgotten what it was. dont u hate it when that happens?

Why is there a picture of some boats here? It's because I'm too lazy to link another picture. First I'd have to find a pic which is the right size, then I have to upload it. Then I have to hope the pic stays there and doesn't get deleted from the image hosting website. Bah leave it as a boat. I'm too lazy to change it.
