If i was a superhero... who would i want to be?

it is a question that has haunted me over the years and i believe right now i have the answer!

ok let's first list the possible candidates that i've considered before. of course there have been various superbeings with (literally) god-like abilities in comic books but such choices would've been boring

i've considered longshot cos what's a better superpower than being super lucky? i could like beat badguys by some fluke like a tree falling on them or something and still earn a fortune at a casino.

then there was also the choice of lobo. he killed everyone on his planet as a science school project. then after wiping out his entire race, he gave himself an A. how cool is that?

but NONE of them compare to this guy. deadpool.
list of abilities: Regenerative healing factor, superhuman strength, speed, endurance, and agility. Expert marksman and swordsman. Teleportation. Cursed Immortality by Thanos. Master martial artist and tactician. Instantaneous reflexes. "Comic Awareness"...

hold on a second... "comic awareness"? yep he has the superhuman ability to know that he is in a comic breaking down the "4th wall" and shit. he's also fallen in love with the female personification of death and is thus suicidal "so that he can be with his one true love" no doubt. this has of course incurred the wrath of jealous thanos who is also in love with death. thus thanos makes him immortal (wtf) as a curse, so that he can never meet death.

ep 2 of deathnote was abit of a letdown. once again u cant trust anime creators to maintain the same quality throughout the series. they always blow the entire budget on the first ep.

anyway ive been getting lost in wikipedia. this is bad. wikipedia is like crack. damn addictive to just click all the links n read the articles. especially comic book mythology. been reading abt 52. seems quite interesting with all the politics and cults and whatever.

maybe ill dld it when its finished, cos there's no way i'll be able to buy 52x$$$ worth of comic books. assuming that each comic is $1... it would still cost me $52... urgh

just watched finish the first ep of deathnote anime.

it is a true blue anime/manga fan's wet dream.

the art and animaton is top notch ova quality

the voice acting is impeccable. exactly what i imagined the characters would sound like.

whatever they are paying the director for this THEY SHOULD QUADRUPLE IT.

he's got the entire mood right down to a tee.

the use of noir and gothic imagery is absolutely spot-on perfect.

the music is great too, the opera bg music. tho i havent warmed up to the op ed songs yet thae animation for them is... like something ive never seen before.

the use of camera angles, panning *swoosh*

the annoying hc principal guy is back. trying his best to maneouvre the english language in an attempt to insult me. considering the amount of time between the insults, i thought that the insult was a one-off thing and he had moved on. but no! it had taken him about one-and-a-half weeks to come up with a second insult! he's obviously having trouble with his chinese-to-english dictionary. it's probably too complicated for him to think in two languages and it probably takes forever to type and send a tag on my tagboard with the pentium I with the 36k modem that the CCP central government sent him.

so far this insult-retort procedure is rather one sided. i tell you what hc principal, i'll allow you to tag and insult me in chinese ok? maybe if u did that, ur insults wouldnt be so lame and pathetic. u can even call up the central gov't and have hu jintao help u think up better insults to post. if not i will feel guilty making fun of u just because ur a communist from china with a weak command of english and no state-of-the-art capitalist equipment.
