in other news. im gonna be hunting mas selamat. im stationed at the northwest coast so if u want u can come visit, but ull have to drive into a live firing area.

this is sort of a gd thing and a bad thing. good thing is my shift is 12-24. 12 hrs duty, 24 hrs rest. though its actually less than 24 hrs cos we have to report in 2 hrs earlier + transport and the returning of stores after as well. today was worse cos a tree fell, blocking the road back. getting back to gedong camp took 1 hr, cos i had to go the long way around to tuas then back to lim chu kang, in a rover (the shiny new SUV type actually) that drives at a max speed of 50km/h cos of the speed wiring restriction thing that beeps and cuts ur power.

bad thing is all my plans, which i reserved for june, i.e class chalet, church youth camp, driving test etc are all affected by this shift system. i honestly would rather not be involved in this shit cos even if i was back in jurong camp, it would be lull period for me. plus my weekends would be free. hopefully when new specs come early june they can take over... but how many r coming? who out of all of us will they take over?

meh ill enjoy my stay at home for the time being.

if any of u have any plans, even during weekdays, u can call me but there's a 50/50 chance i wont be able to make it

sometimes i wish that i could understand japanese and have access to japanese TV.

i was of course looking for the songs that i know, and were well done. there were some doing utada hikaru's automatic and evangelion's cruel angels thesis. they were horribly out of tune, though the singer of automatic did very well to mimic utada. she sounded like a tone-deaf utada.

anyway since my knowledge of jap songs consist mainly of j-drama and anime themes... thats all u'll prob see here. if u have a larger playlist of japanese songs, i suggest u check out the links cos some performances were very good but i didnt put them here cos i dont recognise the songs.



this band deserves special mention. kinnikuman! lol. if u dont know wat kinnikuman is.... wiki or google it. its as part of japanese culture as doraemon.

hi all.

been back from taiwan for a few days alrdy. been too lazy to blog. plus i had to wait for my frens to send me all the pics. the last few days of rnr are awesome. bought some cool shirts, a nice pair of shoes, a light sabre and sat on some awesome themepark rides.

yes i did. the "peew! Peew!" sounds of the arcade machines nearby helped abit to add to the effect.

oh yeah and the rides i was talking about.





TOTALLY KICKASSS! scariest ride i took in my life. It was so extreme that nobody could scream as we were going down. the g-forces or just pure fear was stopping us from making a noise. notice in the video, the ones screaming are those watching? of course this was a vid taken by some other person online. my fren hasnt sent me the one we took.

back from the wilderness!

u know how truly dirty u are when u can rub the dirt of ur skin. not bathing for 9 days ftl.

ok sleeping in a rover for 9 days is not fun. its very cramped and cold at night. plus mosquitoes and HOUSEFLIES!!!

why issit there are lots more houseflies up in higher ground? they buzz and constantly land on you which is much more annoying than the mosquitos. the mosquitos are sluggish in the cold air though.

got to visist a tourist attraction as a rebro sitew though. had a place where natural gas bubbled from the spring, so there was fire on the water. gonna ask my fren to see if he can post the vid on youtube.
