ok the comic is not that bad. the writer is actually above average. just not as good as alan moore. i can see the tragedy and melancholy in the writing but its done in slightly too classical comic book style. too many cliches. the stories are also not as cleverly presented. sort of a good idea wasted on comic book cliches.

yay 4 eyeshield 21! new chapter rox. shows the whole history of the threat notebook! and the hiruma/agon evil partnership. also 2 chapters back shows where he gets all them guns from lol.

hiruma youichi rox. he has to be handsdown my favourite character in a manga ever. eyeshield21 would have been a 2nd rate sports manga without him. he is so evil, daring and brilliant, if he were in deathnote, he would've kicked the collective asses of light, L, near and mello.
