it cant possibly be a coincidence.
within the space of a single week, i have read a total of 4 references to an obscure thought experiment known as
Schrödinger's cat.
1) Reading Douglas Adam's "Dirk Gently's Holistic Detective Agency"
2) Reading a wikipedia article about transformers (something abt an object in the cartoon called the Schrödinger's box
3) Reading "The Best of Spider-man volume 3"
4) Reading Terry Pratchett's "The Last Hero"
just last week i wouldnt be able to tell u what Schrödinger's cat was. in fact i probably would have mixed it up with that experiment where u ring the bell and the dog starts drooling, thinking its gonna be fed.
its FREAKY. not just the coincidence itself but also the experiment, which talks about giving a kitten a 50-50 chance to live, locking it in a box, (possibly) gassing it with cyanide and turning into a quantum parareality zombie kitty.
issit possibly some kind of sign? that i must study this Schrödinger's cat experiment? use it to save the world? or issit just that i like to read material written by a group of authors that makes the same few pop-cultural references over and over again?
